Today started pretty well; I was at church, happy that Christ is risen from the dead, which confirms our faith. I got back home to a delicious Easter meal, jollof rice with well-peppered meat. At the same time, in contrast, in comparison, I finished up a design from work for one of the events for the brand I’m handling.
Then I went to lie down to sleep, you know, a Sunday sleep. All of a sudden, my right hand was shaking. Normally, it happens once in a while, something like a glitch. I overlooked it while I continued scrolling on Twitter. Then my second hand also shook, and now it had my full attention.
Then I tried to focus and see if it would happen again, which it didn’t. I’ve seen a lot of movies where someone has shaking hands, and I remembered they call it Parkinson’s disease. Then I made a very big mistake instantly. I opened my Chrome and checked for the symptoms and cause of it, and to be very fair, some of the symptoms listed on Google are things I’ve been experiencing.
And it’s a very big shame for me to actually check the internet for a sickness based on how I am feeling, because I’m very much against it. Then fear crept in. I tried sleeping but couldn’t sleep because I remembered one of the symptoms was sleep issues, and I’ve been having those for some weeks now.
Then I asked one of my soon-to-be doctor baby, “How can someone do a check-up to know if they have Parkinson’s?” because the next thing on my mind was to try and check if this is something I need to be losing my mind over. Then other minor, minor fears started creeping in, which I may not be comfortable documenting right now.
But on a much, much lighter note, here is some music I’ve been listening to since I last wrote to you and also some movies/series and what I think about them.
Let me know what you think about them
